Give a cookie jar:
Fill a clear glass storage jar with cookies.
Make a tag, write the recipe on it, and tie it
around the lid using string.
Give a pie plate:
Decorate a ceramic or foil pie plate to
resemble a Maypole.

How to make it: Line bottom of pie plate
with cardstock. Wrap ribbon around dowel;
position dowel in center of plate. Wrap
ribbons under dish and gather at top
of dowel; glue along with a bow.
Give a hinged box:
Make use of those old check boxes
lying around. Add paper and embellish.

P Printed tag and
P Felt ribbon
How to make it: Trace each dimension of
the box onto decorative scrapbooking paper.
Cut out tracings to cover both the inside and
outside of the box. Glue each piece of paper
to the corresponding area on the box. Stamp
edges for a distressed look. For inside of open
flap, cut a strip of perforated scrapbooking
paper and attach brads to a few holes. Glue
the paper down. Attach a printed tag that
says “Merry Christmas” to the center of the
paper with a glue dot. Glue the mini frame
around the word “merry.” Tie the box closed
